Revival Starts with Cleaning the Ranks
If you have your eyes open, you’re starting to realize the sheer depth of corruption around us – whether it’s in the government, the media, big-tech, large corporations, or in your own backyard.
We hope and pray for an end to the wickedness and that God will reveal the lies – exposing evil for what it is.
But what happens in the aftermath? There are good, well-meaning people that can be found on both sides of the fence (or frankly those even riding the fence) that have been deceived. When God exposes that which is in the dark these people will be craving the very thing they’ve been missing.
Truth
The lies have infiltrated our lives in such an egregious fashion that, hopefully, it will leave people with a vile, disgusting taste in their mouth. They will want nothing more to do with dishonest people and dishonest policies. They will only want to hear truth whether it’s pleasant or not.
Many Christians believe that in the coming weeks, months, and years there will be an awakening and a revival. More and more people will come to know God and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
As Christians, we like to pride ourselves in having truth on our side. I mean, after all, God is the author of truth. However, this past year of chaos and trials has led me to believe that God is doing a sifting in His own ranks.

Is He sifting out the chaff (those who either aren’t fully committed to Him or those that are flat out false teachers). When we have spiritual leaders who preach a watered-down word of God out of one mouth while evoking the names of false gods and approving abortions out of another mouth, we have a problem in our ranks.
If our ranks aren’t cleaned, how can we be a truthful light for all those who are craving truth? Even the most ungodly person knows where truth comes from. What happens if they come searching for God only to find more lies?
Is it possible God is cleaning out His own house first before revealing the corruption of our nation? When His house is clean it will be ready to be the refuge so many people are looking to find.
